Joseph’s News Team WADALA, JANUARY 22, 2009: Fr. Michael Fernandes, Provincial, held his annual Provincial Visitation of the Parish of Our Lady of Dolours and St. Joseph’s High School, Wadala, on January 19 and 20. The students welcomed the Provincial during the Morning Assembly which was held in the School Auditorium. Addressing the students, Fr. Provincial emphasized the importance of reaching new heights in one’s life. However, he pointed out that “the journey to success should be undertaken with the right values in the heart”. A meeting was then held between the Provincial and the staff during which he stressed that teachers should imbibe those qualities which make learning a fun-filled and interactive experience. Quoting the example of Florence Nightingale, he left the staff with the message that “every child is a bundle of possibilities”. He concluded by encouraging the teachers to bring out the best in their students through Respect, Love and Care.
