Amidst the Global Economic Crisis, the Encyclical Caritas in Veritate comes with new schemes for a Just and Peaceful world. The CBCI Commission for Justice, peace and Development has focused the same theme for this year's Justice Sunday that falls on 16th August. “Love – caritas – is an extraordinary force which leads people to opt for courageous and generous engagement in the field of justice and peace,” states Caritas in Veritate. Amidst cutthroat competitions, consumerism and materialism, this year's message comes with a special focus on Integral Human and social welfare based true charity that begets justice. Without these our developments are incomplete.
