NASHIK, DECEMBER 3, 2009: The three institutes- Divyadaan Salesian Institute of Philosophy, Salesian Training Institute and Don Bosco Bhavan organized the Annual Oratory Cricket tournament on the grounds of Divyadaan and STI for all the youngsters who frequent the oratories. On the occasion of 150 years of the foundation of the Salesian Society, the brothers, both of Divyadaan and STI tried to make it a special one and worked hard to make sure the youngsters received only the best. The oratory tournament attracted 15 teams comprising of youngsters from different backgrounds all eager to display their skills and foster sportsmanship.
The tournament ended with a pulsating final where the team of Sahwasnagar I, beat the team of Kasturbanagar in an eight over competition. The chief guest, Mr. Vivek Bapat, an experienced professor in architecture congratulated the hard work of the organizers and the spirit of the players. The winning team, a first time finalist, took away the trophy and vowed to keep it for the years to come. All went home with satisfaction and gratitude to the Salesians who made their day a memorable one.
