CHHOTAUDEPUR, DECEMBER 16, 2009: On December 13, 2009, about 180 parishioners of Muktidayani Mata parish gathered for a day of fun and togetherness. The day began with the preparations at midnight to prepare for the agape meal. Many of the women folk of the parish came together in preparing a meal of many dishes. The day began with the parish mass at 7.30am with the theme of Family: the Heart of Love. After breakfast the parishioners gathered together for a little prayer service by lighting the family candle in front of the Holy Family. It was a sight to see all the young and old of the parish took part in party games and competed for the little prizes with much gusto and enthusiasm. At 12 noon began the agape meal wherein all had made their contributions in cash and in kind to participate in the fellowship. The people of the parish were thoroughly grateful to the parish council for taking an active part to bring the day to a success and fellowship.
