YERWADA, JUNE 21, 2010: Kudos to Fr. Donald Fernandez, the staff of Don Bosco High School, Junior College, and NIOS on excellent results.
Under the dynamic leadership of the Principal Fr. Donald Fernandez, the School and the College have been achieving great success. Fr. has always been motivating the staff by saying "Coming together is only the beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success" and it has proved right.
With a close follow up of the weakest category of students the success is commendable. The ICU classes in the morning, the personally supervised classes, seeing to their needs satisfying their hunger to enable them to concentrate and study till 9 in the evening has paid off.
To the students, his pep talks on daring to do the best with what one has. Never to get discouraged and give up has influenced quite a many.
In his words," it is not enough to do a task 'fairly well' or 'quite well' if you want to succeed in life you must always do your best to excel".
Fr. Donald is indeed a great person, different from an eminent one who is always willing to reach out to the youth of our society. The results were as follows:
