KAPADVANJ, AUGUST 18, 2010: As India Celebrated its Sixty Fourth Independence Day, there was a joyous atmosphere in Don Bosco Kapadvanj. A solemn Eucharist was held at 8.30 am presided over by Fr. Isaac. The special prayers were said for inner liberation of our country. This was followed by the Flag hoisting ceremony. Fr. Ivan D’Souza hoisted the National Flag in the presence of the community, the aspirants, the MoRD students and the neighboring villagers. Even though it rained, the spirits were not dampened. This was followed by a program in the hall. The MoRD Students sang a patriotic song and performed a beautiful skit asking us to help each other in order to make India shine. This was followed by the lightening tournaments organized by Bro. Royston and Fr. Mayank. The students enjoyed themselves.
