NARUKOT, MARCH 9, 2011: On March 6, 2011 Narukot Education Society organized a fun-filled and value based get-together for the Village Education Programme (VEP) and Sunday oratory staff and students. Around seven hundred students participated in the programme. The theme for the event was ‘Run, Play, Jump but do not Sin’. The chief guest was Mr. Noel Dilemma, the forest officer.
The students came in by 8.30am and were there till 5.00pm. The morning hours were spent in earning gift coupons from the games stall organized voluntarily by the boarding boys. The attractive prizes started from the coupon no.1 to coupon no.10, which were sold with great vigour. The whole campus came alive with the sound of music and the visualizations of the attractive prizes.

After lunch, the institution conducted a felicitation programme for the gathering. The VEP centers also contributed their part, through beautiful dances and skits, in the cultural programme. Those students who were most regular and showed academic progress from the centres were awarded.

Snacks were then distributed to all. The programme ended with a tribal dance. The staff and the students went away with a feeling of gratitude. They promised to give their best in the next scholastic year for Don Bosco.
