BIS #2432 THIRD BATCH OF MoRD SUCCESSFULLY LAUNCHED

AHMEDNAGAR, JULY 6, 2011: After completing the second batch with around eighty five percent placements, on June 30, 2011, Don Bosco Community College, Ahmednagar solemnly started its Third batch of MoRD. 
 
Mrs. A. Gaikwad, the Assistant Project Manager of Administration in DRDA was the chief guest of the programme. Together with her Mr.Dharaskar, Assistant Project Manager of Employment in DRDA, Fr. Thomas D’Costa, the manager of DBCC, Fr. Manuel Murzello, the Rector of Don Bosco Savedi and Fr. Bento D’souza were the guests of honour. Fr. Briston welcomed the gathering and felicitated the guests.  The highlights of the programme were felicitation of the second batch by awarding them the certificates, presenting identity cards to the third batch, experiences sharred by some of the students, photo session and the parents meeting.
  
The chief guest in her speech mentioned the work of DRDA especially in the saving schemes. She encouraged the students to enroll themselves in these schemes so that they are able to meet the future expenses for their education as well as their family.  She also congratulated the staff and the management for carrying out such a valuable work for the underprivileged at large.  Fr. Thomas, the manager of DBCC informed the students about Don Bosco.  He also informed them that they are lucky to witness his relic which will be coming to the campus on August 7.  Fr. Briston thanked all those who had come for the programme.  He addressed the parents separately and clarified their doubts about the training.  Thus the whole day was full of expectations for all those present as lots of news and experience was shared by the older students with the new students.
