NASHIK, JULY 7, 2011: On July 4, 2011 Don Bosco School Nashik organized a cultural program to inaugurate their Junior College with Fr. Diego Nunes as its First principal. Fr. Michael Fernandes, the Provincial of Mumbai Province was the chief guest on this auspicious occasion. The other dignitaries who were present were the Principals and Professors of the neighboring schools and colleges. New students of the commerce and science streams were also present along with their parents and their professors. The program began with prayers from Holy Scriptures, imploring God’s blessing on this new endeavor.
The programme included some soothing songs and foot tapping dances. At the end, an excellent flash presentation gave the guest an eagle’s view of the new Junior College and all the available facilities which will be offered to the students. Fr. Michael in his speech congratulated the Principal and staff and encouraged them to continue to impart an education to excellence and teach the students to contribute to society. Fr. Diego thanked all the people who helped him in fulfilling this dream.
