BIS #2755 SCOUT CAMP TO SIRSAT

Student Reporter
NERUL, JANUARY 05, 2012: Our school organised a Scouts and Guides camp on December 13-14, 2011. We went to Sirsat which is two and a half hours away from Seawoods, accompanied by Fr. Anthony Fonseca, and Teachers Daphne, Milan and Vivena.
The place was green and the environment there was fresh and refreshing. As soon as we reached there we were introduced to our camp chief Bro. Charles and the camp organiser Mr. Machado. We had already been divided into our patrols and the patrol leader and the assistant patrol were also chosen.
We had the reporting and the flag break ceremony after which we had lunch. After lunch we got ready for the camp activities. We all enjoyed all the activities that were arranged for us.
While the class IX patrols were busy making their pioneering projects, classes VI, VII and VIII were busy pitching tents. After all the day's activities came the campfire. All the patrols were informed about the items which they had to perform for the campfire. We learnt many yells and claps during the campfire and there were also some games organized for us.
Next morning, all of us reported at 6am for the B.P 6 exercises. We were all refreshed and ready after the exercises and for the day's activities. After the B.P 6 we went for a long jungle walk which was exciting and also tiring.
Everybody participated whole–heartedly in the activities and kept up the spirit. It was then time for us to return back.
We all enjoyed the camp very much and look forward to more exciting and fun-filled camps.
