NARUKOT, FEBRUARY 02, 2012: The Piloo Mody Don Bosco High School celebrated its Annual cum Parents day on January 29, 2012. Incidentally, it being a Sunday, the Feast of Don Bosco our father and founder was also celebrated.
The day began with the feast day Eucharist presided over by Fr. Andrew Silveira S.J. who was also the Chief Guest for the Annual cum Parents day. Fr. Silveira touched upon the three pillars of the Preventive System namely Reason, Religion and Loving Kindness.
After the Eucharist followed the PTA meeting in which the parents were asked to pay attention to their children, to allow them to follow their dreams and estimations through an IQ testing and finally to be grateful to the institution that has matured and strengthened their children to stand on their feet.
The cultural programme began at 1pm. It was a three hour long programme, but one that was filled with variety, joy and richness. There were cultural dances interspersed with music, a Quowali, the annual report and wise words from the chief guest.
All in all the day was filled with lot of colours, a festivity of cultures, words of wisdom from our father and founder and his wonderful system of Education.
Long live Don Bosco and his System of Education.
