BIS #2821 FELLOWSHIP DAY CELEBRATED AT SILENT RESORT

Sandhya Jain
BORIVLI, FEBRUARY 18, 2012:  It was a chilly morning when we stepped onto the bus, ready to set off on a day full of relaxation and fun. The handed out song sheets were immediately vocalized in chorus by all those present in the bus initiated by Rev. Fr. George Carlos our Principal and Mrs. Marina D'Souza our Headmistress. It was an atmosphere of merry making and rejoicing. As we reached the Silent Resort, it no longer was Silent with the Don Bosco Staff rejuvenating in each other's company and making their presence felt by every one around. The water pools, showers, rain dance arena with its chill water, did not deter us from getting into it.
Each one performing the foot tapping dances to the beat of the music being played. Water games added to the fun. Innovative games by our organizers led us to active participation and entertainment. Special Action Songs by the Management and our Headmistress made us re-live our childhood and we rejoiced in every moment of it unanimously. A sumptuous meal after that was relishing and filling. At the end of the day, the winners of the games were given prizes by the Management. We bid Good Bye to Silent Resort – a little weary of course, but with smiles on our face for fellowship forever.
