'BOSCO LEADERSHIP CAMP' AT BOSCOWADI-UTTAN

BOSCOWADI, APRIL 27, 2012;  The Bosco Leadership Camp at Boscowadi-Uttan received an over whelming response with a vibrant group of ninety-one people, consisting of  participants, volunteers, Salesian Priests and Brothers.  The camp held from April 20 to 23, 2012, aimed at helping the Catholic youngsters in discovering the great potential that God had blessed them with. And to use it effectively and also to discern the amazing plans that God had for their lives.

The participants travelled in two buses, one from the Mumbai Region with bigger group,  and the other from the Vasai Region. After a refreshing drink we settled down to pitching our tents, which was a thrilling experience for the participants.  The program for the camp was an elaborate one with tournaments, camp-fire, treks, swims, interesting sessions and creative moments of prayer.  Every session focused on growing as a person and as a Leader.    Apart from all the fun and adventure, importance was given to prayer as we believe that Our Lord Jesus is the Master Leader, from Him we learn  how to move,  from being good to great Leaders, how to rise above ourselves.

We were happy to note that the facilities at Boscowadi are improving every year with the swimming pool being the icing on the cake.
