FIRE FIGHTING AND SAFETY DAY AT BOSCO BOYS HOME

MUMBAI JULY 21, 2012 :   On July 20,  2012 the Director Fr. Anthony Santarita  commenced the Programme by introducing the Chief Guest and resource person Mr. Bruno who is a Fire Fighting Officer and Supplier of Fire Safety equipments by profession.  He pointed out that fire is not only destructive of materials and property but, even worse, are hazardous to life and limb.  Hence the importance and need of Safety Rules, Laws and the strict observance of Safety  precautions by all.

Mr. Bruno then displayed the Range of Fire-fighting Extinguishers and Accessories with a detailed description and emphasis on those installed in BBH.  He also gave a live demonstration of the use of fire extinguishers.  The boys got most excited when they held it practically in their hand and used it to extinguish the dummy fire.  All the boys who participated in this exercise will be issued a certificate of participatio
