VESTITION OF CL. NARESH NEELAM (INH) AT DIVYADAAN, NASHIK

NASHIK, OCTOBER 19, 2012 : Today the October 18, the feast of St. Luke was a joyous day for the community of Divyadaan.
On this day Cl. Neelam Naresh of Hyderabad Province received his cassock. Cl. Naresh has been pursuing his Mph studies in 
Divyadaan Nashik from last one and a half year.
The vestition took place during the Holy Eucharist in the evening at 7:15pm presided over by Fr. Savio D’Souza, the Rector of Divyadaan. In his sermon he highlighted the importance of cassock and the respect one needs to have for the cassock. He gave examples from the life of Don Bosco showing the respect for the cassock in his life.
The cassock was blessed at the end of the mass and was given to Cl. Naresh who donned it joyfully. The whole community of Divyadaan prayed for Cl. Naresh throughout the day. After the Holy Eucharist the community gathered around the newly vested brother congratulating him with sing songs and cutting of the cake.
In the good night talk that followed Cl. Naresh expressed his heartfelt gratitude to God and to the community of Divyadaan for all the blessings he received during his stay here at Divyadaan. In his message he requested the community to be ever grateful to God for all that happens in one’s life.
