BHINGAR –AHMEDNAGAR, FEBRUARY 25, 2013:   A two day National workshop was held by Pune <![if !vml]><![endif]>University on the theme of probing the contributions of a variety of groups, even Religions like Missionaries, on 23–24 February,  to enriching the Indian culture and ethos.

Dr Nelson Falcao Ph. D was invited to present a forty five minutes paper on the four hundred years of Christian influence of post-colonial rule in Indian sub- continent by missionaries to bring about interreligious dialogue, harmony and development of this civilization of love.

A series of three power-points one on Thomas Stephen and his K. P. inputs, a selection of literary contributors to the Christian ethos and another presentation on …. Showed the value Christian morality and ethical life style has in the consciousness of the Marathi People.
  
<![if !vml]><![endif]>Many other presenters made their contribution in terms of Arya Samaj, Brahma samaj, Theosophical society and other ideologies that shaped and molded the Indian culture of the Indian people.

The seminar showcased a new openness to what pluriform influences can make our culture and civilization one of mutual dialogue and enrichment. This seminar expressed the search of a confused people for a full mature and whole life. While being a probe into the rationale for meaning in life, it was also a search for the roots & wings of humanity.

Congratulations to Pune University for organizing such a radical seminar and workshop where people from various tangents and bi-polarized viewpoints met in the same air conditioned hall to look into each other's eyes, face each other and re-assure ourselves that our  common future is bright and we are on our way to a 'hot' communication that is honest, open, transparent and human dialogue in a fair and free manner for building a Better India.
