The Tournament began with a prayer, the explanation of the rules and a short message by Fr. Manuel, the mission superior of Ahmednagar, Rector and Parish priest of Don Bosco Savedi. The four teams participating were from St. Annes parish, St. John's Bhingar parish, St. John Bosco Savedi and the boarders of Don Bosco Savedi.
Matches were played according to the league system with a maximum of 10 minutes per half. After about 4 matches there was a break during which there was a short presentation on Vocations. Fr. Rolwin, the Assistant parish priest of St. Annes shared with the Altar servers his vocation story and encouraged everyone to respond to God call to priestly and religious life.
The altar servers of St. Annes and Boarders of Don Bosco Savedi entered the finals. After a good fight by both the sides the Boarders of Don Bosco Savedi emerged victorious. Medals, jerseys and the winning trophy were presented to the winners and the runners up. Fr. Rolwin proposed the vote of thanks to all those responsible for the success of the tournament.
Indeed there was happiness and sadness, joy and sorrow, laughter and tears, at the end of the day.
