CHHOTA UDEPUR, JANUARY 10, 2014: The community of Chhotaudepur was privileged to have Fr. Charlin and Fr. Shekhar, the newly ordained priests amidst them. The new priests were warmly welcomed on 6th January, 2014.
On 7th January, 2014 Fr. Charlin presided over the Eucharist and Fr. Shekhar concelebrated the mass along with the confreres of the community. In his homily, Fr. Charlin reminded the gathering that they were God's precious jewels. He stated that one needs to nurture this gift of life that God has bestowed on each one.  The solemn gathering received blessings from the holy hands of the newly ordained.
After the holy Eucharistic celebration, Fr. Charlin and Fr. Shekhar were warmly welcomed through a melodious song sung by the choir. The newly ordained priests were then felicitated with a floral tribute. The students of the ninth standard put up a Rathwi dance that enthralled each one. Rupsing, a class IX student expressed appreciation and thanks to the new priests on behalf of the school and boarding. The girls of class XI put up a filmi dance and they were appreciated by all.
Fr. James Tuscano, the rector and principal of the institution thanked one and all for a splendid performance. May the good Lord bless Fr. Charlin, Shekhar and Fr. Leon as they journey in the Lord's vineyard and guide the flock entrusted to their care.
