NERUL-MUMBAI, JANUARY 20, 2014: Farewell for the students of class X and XII was organized by students of class IX & XI on 15th January 2014 in Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Nerul at 11 a.m in the assembly hall ground floor.
The students were trained by their teacher Mrs. Vivena & Mrs. Nazneen under the guidance of their Supervisor Mrs. Daphne Fernandes. The Program began with the lighting of the lamp by Fr. Bonnie, Fr. Anthony and the Supervisors, followed by a prayer service. Fr. Bonnie enlightened the students with his words of wisdom.
The singers sang melodiously with rhythm to the music played by their fellow students. The song was followed by a skit "The Colors of the rainbow" which highlighted the importance of appreciation of one another which allows a beautiful blending of personalities, strengths and weaknesses followed by a group dance.
Tr. Vivena, the teacher in-charge gave the farewell message with emphasis on walking the roads of life with thoughtfulness. Students of class X & XII expressed their gratitude in words and presented the school with a memento.
Fr. Anthony proposed the vote of thanks & also appreciated the students for their performance in sports.
Students enjoyed the program and took back memories on their little electronic gadgets.
