MUMBAI-MATUNGA, MAY 7, 2014: On the evening of April 29, 2014, about thirty Past Pupils from the Local Council Units of Matunga, Andheri, Kurla, Borivili and Wadala met together at the 
Matunga Gymkhana. Present also were Fr. Vivian D'Souza the Provincial Delegate, Fr. Wilfred D'Souza the Local Delegate and Fr. Michael Mascarenhas who has been long associated with Matunga . There were short speeches by Mr. Jayesh and the three Salesians present. Each expressed happiness at the initiative, since it offered an opportunity of getting to know each other and spending time together, apart from formal meetings.

Vivian called on those present, to work towards building up the Vasai, Naigaon, Nashik, Lonavla, Nagar and Pune Units. He informed all, about the preparations, for the National Federation Meeting scheduled for November 22- 23, in Mumbai, stressing that all the Units would put their hands together to make this a successful enterprise. Fr. Michael gave a brief history of how Don Bosco, Matunga was structured and thanked the Matunga unit. The fellowship meal was heartily enjoyed by all and everyone complimented and thanked the Matunga Unit for hosting the same. They expressed a desire to hold such enjoyable get togethers in the future.
