SALAWAD-SUKET, JUNE 2, 2014: The month of May being dedicated to Mary, the parishioners gathered around the grotto daily to recite the rosary. It was very heartening to see people coming in large numbers. The rosary service was animated by different ward members. The brothers from different Seminaries helped in the animation and preaching. During this time they bade farewell to their dear Fr. Joe and thanked him for his ministry in the parish and welcomed Fr. Matthew Katara.

The main focus of the summer club was to instruct the children about First Holy Communion and the sacraments of Confession and Confirmation. The children were given basic computer knowledge and were also taught English. Varieties of games were organized for the kids and the winners were awarded with beautiful prizes. Catholic children who were regular for the Holy Eucharist and the rosary were also given special prizes. We thank God and Mother Mary for being with us.
