BHINGAR-AHMEDNAGAR, JULY 29, 2014: To launch the bicentenary of Don Bosco's birth a football tournament was held in Bhingar, in which twenty-one teams participated. The chief guests for the 
tournament were Brigadier Virender Varma, his wife Anita Varma and Colonel Arthur Samuel and the Guest of Honour was Dr. Fr. Ashok Ohol. SJ, Ph.D.
The Tournament began on July 26, with the elimination round and quarter-finals while the semi-finals were held on July 27, 2014. Team Shivajians-B won the tournament. The St Anne's team secured the second place and Pathardi Football club from Pathardi secured the third place. The Trophies and T-shirts were distributed to the winners of the tournament. Mr. Vicky Joseph and his team of helpers made sure that the tournament was conducted flawlessly.
