NERUL-MUMBAI, OCTOBER 9, 2014: A value education programme on the theme 'DON BOSCO MEETING MICHAEL RUA, HIS FIRST SUCCESSOR' was presented by class VI B on September 30, 2014 at Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Nerul. Thirty seven out of forty students participated in the programme.  The students were trained by their class teacher, Milicia Fernandes, under the guidance of their Principal and the Supervisor.

A video on the life of Michael Rua was presented. After which, the students enacted a skit that depicted, how Don Bosco met his first successor Michael Rua in 1852.  The students ably delivered the message 'To become like Don Rua; a loyal, faithful and creative follower of Don Bosco.' Thereafter, the students sang the hymn 'I just keep trusting my Lord' which emphasized that, trust and faith in GOD, could help individuals to face any challenge in life.

Students presented a few of Don Bosco's quotes on obedience, love, trust and being good.
