BORIVLI-MUMBAI, DECEMBER 1, 2014: The Don Bosco BI-CENTENARY CELEBRATION SPORTS FESTIVAL 2014–15 was held in Don Bosco education complex, Borivli on the November 26 and 27, 2014. The ceremony was inaugurated by the chief guest, Mr. Mahesh Mangaonkar, the squash Champion of the Asian Olympic Games.

The sports festival continued with March past, folk dances and mass drill by the secondary section and aerobics by the primary section. Thereafter, each section started with the sports races. The primary held running race, Lemon and spoon race, Baker's race and ball relay. Children were given snacks, organized by the P.T.A members during their break time. The festival continued on the second day, with relays of the secondary section and the college section. This also included the staff and the parent's events viz-passing the cap (iski topi uske sar) and Book Balancing.

The closing ceremony began with the folk dances by the NIOS students. It concluded with the sports prize distribution for all the sections with trophies, certificates, sweets and cold drink bottles sponsored by the chief guest. Mr. Mahesh Mangaonkar then declared the sports meet closed.
