AHMEDNAGAR-MAHARASHTRA, JANUARY 5, 2015: The parish of St. Anne's organized a "Youth Dhamaka" for all the youth of the parish on December 30, 2014 which was attended by 104 youngsters. Bearing in mind the bicentenary of the birth of Don Bosco – the focus of this event was making known the life and mission of Don Bosco.
The event began at 5.00pm and consisted of a blend of entertainment and education. Apart from all the fun and frolic, games, entertainment and dance, the event also comprised of sessions that portrayed Don Bosco's love for the youth, his trust in the divine providence, etc. The youth presented skits with wonderful acting, dancing and commentary that depicted the various social problems prevalent in India.
The highlight of the event was a Charismatic prayer session around the bright and big camp fire – it was truly inspiring to see the deep faith of the youth. The programme ended with dinner at 10.00 pm. The youth thanked Fr. Rolvin D'mello and his collaborators for the well organized and exciting "Youth Dhamaka". They were also grateful to Fr. Thomas D'Costa the parish priest for his support and encouragement.
