BORIVLI, OCT 5, 2015 : The students of Don Bosco Junior College, Borivli, celebrated traditional day on Oct 1 at the college campus.
The day began by invoking God's blessings and lighting the lamp. The students were then treated to a video on the diverse cultures of India.
The students- dressed in traditional attire- graced the ramp specially prepared for the occasion.
From punjabi sherwanis, to Kerala sarees and lungis, to fancy Goan outfits, the students strutted in style. In round one, participants were asked to introduce themselves.
In round two, they were quizzed by the judges on culture and tradition.
Leander Fernandes was judged the winner and Lionel Gracias, the runner-up.
All-in-all it was a fun learning experience for the students.
