NAVI MUMBAI, NOV 25, 2015: Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Nerul organised a three-day camp for Scouts and Guides from November 22-24 at Karjat. The school is celebrating its decennial year and wanted the students to have a unique camping experience. 


184 scouts and guides along with 19 staff members participated in the camp at Pinewood resort. A strict schedule was followed, to instill a sense of duty and discipline among the scouts and guides. Early morning treks, flag breaks, tent pitching, learning knots and lashings, as well as pioneering projects which included making camp gadgets were some of the activities conducted. 


The highlights were the camp-fire sessions and adventure sports organised for the participants. All the activities were aimed at helping the scouts and guides become skilled team players, self-reliant and effective leaders of tomorrow.
