AHMEDNAGAR, JAN 4, 2015: Ninety-one youth from St. Anne's Church, Ahmednagar participated in the Youth Dhamaka on December 30 to bid farewell to 2015 and usher in the New Year. Father Paul Antao, the Assistant Parish Priest of St. John's Church, Bhingar addressed the gathering at the onset on Pope Francis' Encyclical Letter 'Laudato Si'.

Father Antao used creative video presentations  and urged the youth to take care of Mother Earth.
Father Thomas D'Costa, the Parish Priest, then through his message urged youth to plant more and more trees for better ecological balance, in order to maintain and save our mother earth created by the God.

Five lighted air balloons were then released to symbolise the message of love and peace that Christ is the 'Light of the World', who brings light in our hearts. Father Johnson Kshirsagar, the Assistant Parist Priest of St. Anne's Church then conducted various games for the youth. Finally, Father D'Costa lit a camp fire and all sang Christmas carols.
