NAVI MUMBAI, SEP 26, 2016: The boy's Under–19 handball team from Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Nerul trumped Ryan International School, Sanpada, 8-3 in the final of the Navi Mumbai inter-school handball tournament organised by the District Sports Office (DSO) on September 24 and 25.
The team making their maiden appearance in a handball tournament of this nature played impressively in the final. Their title win helped them qualify for the Mumbai zone tournaments slated for the first week of October.
Nikhil Mali from standard eleven was declared the Player of the Tournament. He said, "It was the best game we've played so far. We look forward to the Mumbai zone tournament".
Father Donald Fernandez, the Principal, was present and watched his team lift top honours in the final which took place at Ryan International School, Nerul.
