NAVI MUMBAI, NOV 10, 2016: The Salesian Cooperators made their annual two-day retreat at the Animation Centre, at Panvel, run by the Syro Malabar Fathers, as Salesian houses were not available, on October 30 and 31.

The Animator of the retreat, Aubry Menezes, a diocesan animator and a Salesian Co-operator himself at the Matunga Unit dwelt on the theme of Mercy on the first day.Through a power point presentation, he explained the different ways in which participants could be merciful to others, in the way Christ wants us to be.

On the second day, he dwelt on the Document "Amoris Laetitia" brought out by the Holy Father, Pope Francis, at the end of the Synod on the Family. He highlighted several recommendations of the Holy Father and dwelt on the different difficult situations in Married and Family Life.  He also spoke on how we can enrich our family living.

Father Vivian D'Souza, the Delegate of the Salesian Family, animated the Holy Adoration on the first evening and celebrated the Holy Eucharist for the group the next morning. Jacinta Gracias, the Provincial Coordinator, said, "The place chosen was apt for the retreat with comfortable rooms and plenty of space for reflection."
