VASAI, JULY 13, 2017: Seventeen youth from Resurrection Church Virar, joined over 300 youth from the Vasai diocese alongside Bishop Felix Machado, parish priests, parish 
youth directors and sisters involved in youth work in a rally, before they gathered for an informative session on the preparatory document of the Synod on 'Youth, faith and vocational discernment' at the Jeevan Darshan Kendra Giriz Vasai on July 9.
The youth themselves presented the highlights of the preparatory document letter drafted by Pope Francis, and stressed on the impact that social, cultural, technological and economical changes make on the youth of today.
Bishop Machado, the Chief Guest, too stressed that the event was a historic moment for the diocese. The Yuva Darshan group, under the guidance of Father Alwin - the director, shared their experiences and reflection on the Synod which was a memorable encounter for all.
