AHMEDNAGAR, AUGUST 23, 2013: After successfully completing 3 batches of SLS (Skills for Livelihood & Sustenance) program in which 498 students were trained last academic year. This year on 1st July 2013 the 4th batch of SLS was launched in DBCC (Don Bosco Community College) and for this batch there are 172 students. The students are being trained in typing, tailoring, computers, spoken English, electrical and advance English training. Having completed half way through their training a special prayer service was organised to seek the Lord's blessings.

The prayer service began with a prayer song followed by reading of various religious scriptures and a video presentation on Don Bosco. The Rector, Fr. Thomas gave a brief description about the works of Don Bosco Institutes around the globe and specially in Ahmednagar. Fr. Rolvin, Director - DBCC urged the students to make the best of the facilities available at the institute. All the students were spiritually nourished by the end of the prayer service.
