BORIVLI- MUMBAI, NOVEMBER 4, 2013: A "Diwali and Children's Day" Program was organized at Don Bosco, Borivli, on 30th October, 2013. The Pre-Primary and Primary corridors and classrooms were decorated with diyas and lanterns prepared by the children.

The day began with a prayer service. Special prayers were extended towards the children who are less fortunate. The children were then provided with important guidelines to have a safe Diwali.

Children's Day is celebrated on the 14th of November on Pandit Nehru's Birthday as a day of fun and frolic. He said children are like buds in the garden.

Exciting games were conducted in the classrooms and spot prizes were given. A magic show was also organized for the boys. It left everyone in splits of laughter. A special thanks to the Head Mistress Mrs. Marina Desouza for making it a memorable day.
