Matunga-Mumbai, January 23, 2013:    Don Bosco High School, Matunga was honoured with the presence of the newly ordained priests' Fr. Charlin Chandran and Fr. Shekar Mariadas on the 15th of January 2014.
They celebrated the Eucharist for the Catholic students and teachers of the school. Fr. Charlin was the main celebrant while Fr. Shekar preached the homily. They offered the Eucharist for the intentions of all those present.
Fr. Shekar preached about the call of Samuel and he urged the students to be open to God's call. He said that the call may come to be a doctor, or an engineer, or even a priest. But the important thing is how good a doctor you will be, or how good a priest will you be.
After Communion, they thanked the community of Don Bosco Matunga for inviting them to spend time with the students. The Rector, Fr. Wilfred D'Souza, congratulated them on becoming priests and presented them with a token of love. He invited them to share their vocation stories that touched many of the students. After the final hymn, the students and all those present were invited to kiss the anointed hands of the newly ordained priests.
