CORLIM-GOA, DECEMBER 18, 2014: Sixty parishioners of St. John Bosco Church, Savedi went for the visit and pay their homage to the body of St. Francis Xavier in Goa.  The trip was organized by Fr. Manuel Murezello, the parish priest. The parishioners were mostly from the fourteen villages that they catered their religious services to.

The journey started from Ahmednagar station on December13, 2014. The pilgrims took shelter at St. Monfort I.T.I. College in Corlim.  On the first day of their arrival, the pilgrims were taken to visit the body of St. Francis Xavier where there had to wait in line for 5 hours to pay their homage. The pilgrims then went around sightseeing to places like Fort Aguada, Calangute beach, Miramar Beach, Dona Paula, St. Agnelo's Church, Don Bosco Panjim, Food Mela and then the long awaited marketing. The pilgrims returned on December 17.

The pilgrims did enjoy their stay in Goa and the spiritual experience and deepening of their faith as they visited the body of St. Francis Xavier as well as the moments when they shared their experiences with each other during their journeys by bus and train.
