CHINCHWAD, NOV 18, 2016: Children for the slums of Ramnagar, Vidyanagaar and Indiranagar in Chinchwad celebrated Children's day for the first time on November 14, owing to the efforts of Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS).


The programme, which witnessed a gathering of 150 children was held at a slum community hall. It was filled with fun and learning.


Project co-ordinator, Lalita Chaudhary educated the kids about the history and purpose of Children's Day. 


Children then participated in various competitions like debates, drawing, essay writing, math tables, dance, rhymes among others. 


The programme ended with snacks and gifts for all. The children went back with cherished memories. This project is supported by AXA Business services.
