Don Bosco Alirajpur organized a training programme on the importance of the Gram Sabha in spearheading development work in the villages, on September 29, 2008. Eighty-five enthusiastic SHG members from 6 villages, namely, Bokadiya, Gadath, Behedwa, Gilziri, Indi and Sorwa participated in the programme. Our staff explained the function of the Gram Sabha and the role of SHG members in conducting and participating in these Sabhas. The session was very interactive with the villagers showing keen interest in the subject and 
raising several questions. The villagers also expressed their desire to learn more about the
ir civic duties and responsibilities. Congrats, to our Social Workers who handled the entire programme in an excellent manner.
