Richard Burkhao sdb AHMEDNAGAR, OCTOBER 15, 2008: Our Lady of Rosary Chapel, Jeur, celebrated its Second Annual Yatra on October 11, 2008. The celebration began with a procession from the old chapel to the new one, during which the people prayed the rosary and sang hymns to Our Blessed Mother. Fr. Prakash Raut and Fr. William Falcao were the celebrants at the solemn festive Eucharist. Fr. Prakash inspired the faithful with his soul stirring sermon. The Eucharist was followed by a simple dinner for all, after which the bhajan mandalies took over and sang bhajans right up till 2.00 am. The entire yatra finally concluded with the celebration of another Eucharist at 2.00 in the morning. Special thanks to the parish youth who were the main organizers of this memorable event.
