BIS # 1154 SNIPPETS FROM BOSCO BOYS’ HOME

Brian Moras sdb BORIVLI, OCTOBER 18, 2008: After the Electronics, AC Mechanics and Lamprell courses, Bosco Boys’ Home has added yet another extremely relevant component to its ever growing training programmes – Language Skills Training through the use of the Lingua Phone. This is a highly professional method of learning spoken English and it ensures that the students gain a mastery over vocabulary, syntax and diction. The Language Lab was inaugurated by Fr. Michael Fernandes, Provincial, on October 16, 2008. Yet another addition to our campus is a beautiful statue of Our Blessed Mother, mounted on an exquisitely designed pedestal and shielded by an umbrella. Placed at the entrance of the campus, this statue symbolizes Mary welcoming and blessing all those who come here. This new statue was also blessed by Fr. Michael Fernandes on the occasion of his visit to our institution.
