Blossom Misquitta NAIGAON, FEBRUARY 5, 2009: All through the month of January, as we prepared for the feast of St. John Bosco our Father and Patron, we had students enlightening us daily on incidents in the life of Don Bosco, during the School Assembly. The Novena in preparation for the feast heightened the fervour and attachment of the staff and students to Don Bosco. On the feast day itself, we had a grand celebration, which was coupled with the decennial celebrations of the school. The day began with the holy Eucharist with our Rector Fr. Blany Pinto as the principal celebrant. This was followed by inter-house games for the students of the secondary section – football for the boys and throwball for the girls. The celebrations concluded with a festive lunch and get-together organized for the Staff, PTA and friends of the institution. The lunch was preceded by some innovative and enjoyable party games. We left the school campus with gratitude in our hearts for Don Bosco and an increase in our love for this great saint.
