Leon Ratinam sdb ANDHERI, FEBRUARY 16, 2009: Dominic Savio High School staged the musical ‘The Lion
King’ on February 14, 2009, as part of its Annual Day celebrations. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Fr. Diego Nunes, a former Rector of this institution. The musical was directed by Fr. Ajoy Fernandes and he was assisted by the teachers who trained the children for this performance. A total of 320 children, from Junior K.G. to Std. IX acted in this enchanting musical. As the beautiful story of the Lion King unfolded gracefully on the stage, the audience was charmed by the 
exciting jungle dances and the fascinating wild life portrayals. The exotic costumes and makeup added to the beauty of this outstanding theatrical production. The climax of this enthralling experience was the final scene in which the entire jungle gathered together around Simba, the Lion King. The thunderous applause from the audience showed clearly that they had thoroughly enjoyed this marvelous and magnificent musical.
