Greg Almeida sdb KAWANT, FEBRUARY 17, 2009: Don Bosco Kawant organized a Shooting Volleyball Tournament on February 15, 2009, for the youth of Kawant and Chhota Udepur Talukas. 21 teams took part in this exciting tournament which began at 12.30 in the afternoon and went on till well past midnight. The two 
teams that made it to the finals were Sardarnager Youth and Gurukrupa Youth, both from Chhota Udepur. After a thrilling and closely fought match, Gurukrupa Youth emerged winners. The entire tournament was very well organized, thanks to the great efforts put in by Br. Ramesh Durairaj. He was ably assisted by Mr. Arvind Parmar and Mr. Rasik Rathwa who saw to the various details connected to the event. Our boarders also did a good job of looking after the players and the other guests. The tournament was highly appreciated by the participants as well as by the spectators. They urged Don Bosco to organize such events frequently so as to give the village youth the opportunity to develop their talents.
