NERUL, NOVEMBER 28, 2009: Don Bosco Senior Secondary School, Nerul welcomed the Provincial Rev. Fr. Michael Fernandes on November 23, 2009. Students from Class I to VIII gathered in the assembly hall for the Morning Prayer. They welcomed Fr. Provincial and presented him with a bouquet of flowers. Students of Class II B organized a special Value Education programme based on the value Honesty. The Choir sang a melodious song ‘Spirit of God, Spirit of Peace’ followed by a Skit and Thoughts. Two consecutive dance performances by the students of Class VII and VIII gave a zest to the event. Fr. Provincial gave away certificates to students for co-curricular activities for the year 2008-2009. He spoke to the students encouraging them to take part in as many co-curricular activities as possible besides becoming proficient in their studies. Fr. Principal ended the programme with a vote of thanks.
