WADALA, OCTOBER 6, 2010: The school held its English Choral recitation on October 1, 2010 in the school hall. Mrs. Carol Amanna from Auxilium Convent (Wadala), Mrs. Mavis D’souza from D.P.Y.A. High School (Dadar) and Mrs. Perveen Engineer from J.B. Vachha High School (Dadar) were the eminent judges who witnessed the competition.
The students of every class of the secondary section recited in unison the contents of their poem with an emphasis on the diction, articulation and rhythm. The presentation was made more creative through a display of placards, voice modulation and at times, the enactment of the scene. The tempo and the recitation were pleasing to the ear, thanks to the tremendous effort put in by every student together with the assistance of their class teachers and English subject teachers.
The judges appreciated the efforts of all the classes and the teachers who trained the students. They further encouraged the students and teachers with their valuable suggestions and constructive feedback. Classes V B, VIIIB, IXA and IXB were the winners in their respective categories.
