AHMEDNAGAR, MARCH 10, 2011: On March 6, 2011 at the 8.30 a.m. celebration, forty five children received their First Holy Communion. The main celebrant for the Eucharist was Fr. Thomas D’Costa, the Parish Priest, assisted by Fr. Bento and Fr. Blaise. Rectification of marriages preceded on the previous day. All the children also had a chance to make their first confessions. The Festive Mass was prepared by the Catechism Animators along with the children who received Jesus for the first time. The children were grateful as they received Jesus into their hearts and the parents were very proud about this historic event in their homes and families. The children received religious gifts and snacks.
