WADALA, MARCH 15, 2011: The Annual Thanksgiving Day of the Sunday School of Our Lady, of Dolours Parish, Wadala was held on March 13. It was indeed a wonderful day for the children and Catechists, as we gathered with grateful hearts to praise and thank God for all his blessings bestowed on us during the year. During the Eucharistic celebration we acknowledged God’s goodness towards us. We expressed our thanks to God for all our children, our Catechist and especially for our Parish Priest, Fr. Aloysius Furtado and his team.

The Sunday school children put up a beautiful musical- Recreating Today’s World, which gave us a powerful message. The Chief Guest for the day was Ms. Nicole Britto, Vice-Principal of St. Joseph High School, Wadala. Our catechetical coordinator Mr. Roy Pinto read the Annual Report of our Sunday school highlighting the great events that took place during the year.
The children were honoured with certificates for general proficiency and for the highest attendance. Our ever vibrant assistant coordinator, Mr. Lloyd Nunes proposed the vote of thanks. To bring the programme to a conclusion an oath was taken by all to, Cherish the Life That We Have.

In His hand is life of every creature and the breath of all humankind.” (Job 12:10)
The Lord has gifted His creation to take care of it.
