Fr. Godfrey in his message invited the leaders to imitate St. Dominic Savio in being role models to the younger students and also a source of inspiration to others. He said that a leader is someone who makes a difference and who possesses the following eight qualities:
He takes initiative
He has a vision
He is unselfish
He develops team spirit
He is faithful to the task entrusted to him even when things are tough
He is enthusiastic and in a way makes others feel good.
He is disciplined and does not succumb to peer pressure.
He is confident and provides security to his team mates.
Fr. Rector concluded his speech on a hopeful note that one day the leaders invested would make the school proud and take it to greater heights.
The vote of thanks was proposed by the Principal, Fr. Bernard who thanked the members of the management for gracing the occasion and also thanked all those responsible for making it a day to remember. He ended by saying that each one is a leader in his/her own way and asked the students to be responsible leaders working for the progress of the school. We look up to St. Dominic Savio - a model of Sanctity and Prayer.
