DAKOR, SEPTEMBER 14, 2011: On the birthday of Our Lady, September 8, 2011, Don Bosco Dakor experienced her blessings in the form of the opening of DB Tech - SCHNEIDER project in its campus. The project involves a course for electricians. Bro. Tony along with the help of his community and teaching staff initiated this project. The time duration of this course is ninety days with a job placement.
Twenty five students have registered themselves and were present for the inauguration ceremony together with the two instructors Mr. Priyesh and Mr. Indrajeet. The inauguration ceremony started with a bhajan followed by the lighting of the lamp. Fr. Alex Fernandes, the Rector, inaugurated the programme and shared his words of happiness with the young people and the staff. Fr. Henry shared his words of encouragement to the boys who enrolled for the course.
On the very first day Miss. Vasanti gave an enlightening session on the introduction of the programme and the entire process of the SCHNEIDER. The students were filled with zeal and found a reason to get focused and dedicated for the course ahead.
Truly, September 8, 2011 will remain a memorable event in the chronicles of Don Bosco Dakor. We hope to see many more youngsters enrolling themselves for this course.
