In an attempt to explore the hidden talents of acting, the school held an inter-house Christmas dramatic competition on December 21. The one act plays presented the students with opportune moments to express themselves on the stage. The Yellow House staged 'The spirit of Christmas', the Red house enacted 'Christmas in Iraq' and the Green house performed the drama 'I never saw you'. The Blue house with their performance 'The Selfish Giant' were the winners of this close competition. The same day saw the KG students of our school receiving their share of Christmas gifts and presents from our beloved Santa Claus.
The school was abuzz with Christmas activity on December 22. The first part of the morning saw the Primary students enacting a beautiful tableau on the Christmas story for the Primary section. The Secondary section treated themselves to a Christmas treat in their respective classrooms around the same time. Thereafter, it was the turn of the Secondary section to be part of the Christmas symposium while the Primary students had their share of Christmas celebration in their classrooms. A wonderful Christmas party and lunch awaited all the staff members later in the afternoon. We had our own three kings with their message for Christmas… and of course who made their subjects scurry around for gifts and presents!
The school broke for Christmas vacations – but not before receiving a wonderful message for Christmas: Joy comes in GIVING! Merry Christmas!.
