BIS #2795 SALESIAN PARENTS DAY

VASAI, FEBRUARY 04, 2012: On January 26, 2012 the parents of Salesians from Bhyander, Gorai, Vasai and Virar celebrated the Parents Day at Jyoti Mata Church, Agashi. The celebrations began with the holy Eucharist at 10.30am. Fr. Mauel Murzello, the Provincial Councillor presided over the Eucharist and Fr. George preached the homily on the life of Don Bosco. After mass the parents were shown a short movie on the life of Don Bosco.

Bro. Alex addressed the parents about the work of Don Bosco in the Province especially at Madhya Maharashtra. Frs. George and Osborn conducted interesting games for the parents. This was followed by a sumptuous meal that was prepared by the women's sodality at Jyoti Mata Church.

Fr. Vishwas had put in a lot of effort in making this programme a success. The programme ended wit the traditional Vasai Folk dance.
